Annual Ctrack South Africa Charity Golf Tournament

Ctrack Charity Golf Day 2013 raised R120,000 for Cotlands and SANPARKS

The Annual Ctrack South Africa Charity Golf Tournament was held at Centurion Golf Club on Friday 15 March 2013. As usual, the competition was supported by a full field of local golfers and businessmen which was to the delight of the supported charities.

The tournament raised more than R120,000 through sponsorships and activities on the day  and has been donated to Ctrack’s long-standing major charities, SAN Parks, to support services provided for anti-rhino poaching, as well as Cotlands to help them with their wonderful work in aid of children.

Ctrack thanks all of the sponsors which included AccTech who sponsored the shirts and and RF Designs who sponsored caps.

Prizes were presented by Ctrack’s Chief Operations Officer, Mark Rousseau.  “Ctrack is committed to being part of the local community and feels it is important to support in any way possible. We support Cotlands and SANParks each year through a number of different initiatives such as Casual Day and the iconic Ctrack Charity Golf Day, ” says Rousseau.

Accepting the donation on behalf of SANParks Management at the charity function was Mr. Snowy Botha, SANParks Honorary Ranger, and John Turner, National Chairman for SANParks Honorary Rangers, Conservation Services. “The funds will be utilised to supply our rangers and field rangers with essential equipment and advanced clandestine training to improve their capabilities in the fight against rhino poaching,”  says Turner.
