A 30 000 litre Avgas refuelling tank has been installed at Nacala Airport in Mozambique by Air BP.
The tank has been in operation since 1 December 2024 and is the sole supplier of Avgas at the airport.
Air BP serves a total of seven Mozambique airports: at Nacala, Pemba, Chingozit, Beira’s Manga Airport, Quelimane, Maputo and Vilanculos.
The scheduled services at Nacala are Airlink on the Johannesburg (OR Tambo) route; Kenya Airways Nairobi (Jomo Kenyatta); LAM to Beira, Dar es Salaam, Lichinga, Maputo, Pemba, Tete and Malawian Airlines to Blantyre and Lilongwe.
