IMPERIAL I-Pledge road safety initiative

Imperial I-pledge

Imperial Holdings is partnering with two toll concessionaires this festive season and deploying nine vehicles, with the objectives of bolstering route surveillance, patrol support and post-crash care activities.

This forms part of Imperial’s I-Pledge road safety initiative and will see the company’s Europcar division supplying seven branded cars to N3 toll concession (N3TC) and two to Bakwena N1N4.

Both concessionaire routes see high volumes of traffic during the December period with the N3 toll route, between Heidelberg South and Cedara (near Hilton), recording an average of 15 000 vehicles per day through its Tugela Toll Plaza, while the Bakwena N1/N4 route records over 2 600 vehicles per hour through its Carousel Toll Plaza.
